Moon on the Nile - Sistrum

Inspired by the sistrums of the Late Ptolomeic period of this mixed media piece is made from hand carved pirhana pime and 16 guage brass with hand turned scrolls at the top. These are more delecate than the solid wooden sistrums and extra care needs to be taken by the purchaser.
 
It comes with 2 rows of professional Brass Cymbals suspended on sealed tempered brass wire. 
(6 cymbals of the upper row, 6 on the lower)
It’s warm sustainful sound fills a room.
 
All are slightly different. 
Length is approximatly 10 inches and width is 4 1/4 inches

Finished with 2 coats of hard wearing varnish.

Glyphs can be Pyrographied into the handle.
Customer supplies the wanted glyphs,  there is a  $15 charge for extra labour costs.
